    We’re seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Client Partner with strong expertise in digital transformation and product development solutions. The ideal candidate will have experience with the Private Equity (PE) community to open conversations and influence decision making toward leveraging 3Pillar Global for their growth-stage portfolio companies’ digital transformation and product development needs.  The Senior Client Partner will be responsible for developing and nurturing relationships with assigned PE funds, and drive sales from initial introduction to closed/won with PE fund portfolio companies.

    A successful Senior Client Partner will be viewed as a thought leader with skills to manage complex business relationships with PE funds and their portfolio companies. Within this role, you will have the opportunity to work alongside and influence a variety of decision makers such as C-suite business leaders, executive buyers, engineers, product experts, and creative designers. 

    The ideal candidate will possess both a business background that enables him/her to lead extended, complex engagements at the CxO/VP level, as well as working knowledge of digital products that enables him/her to easily interact with business buyers, technical leaders, software developers, creative designers, solutions architects, and product managers. Candidates will require a demonstrated ability to think strategically and analytically about business, product, and technical challenges; to build and communicate compelling value propositions; and work cross-organizationally to build consensus. You are a self-starter with a keen sense of ownership, drive, and independence.

    As a Senior. Client Partner focused on growing our pipeline of Private Equity portfolio company clients, you have the exciting opportunity to shape and deliver on a business growth strategy to grow 3Pillar’s ability to provide solutions portfolio companies within PE funds. 

    With an established grouping of PE funds, your responsibilities will include working closely with PE fund operating partners and executives to socialize 3Pillar services, understand their portfolio companies’ digital product pain points and need, open up
    conversations with portfolio company executives and their digital product buyers to establish new business and drive deals to
    closure. 

    You will work closely with internal teams and external partners and prospects to drive day-to-day interactions with PE funds to build long-term relationships and open conversations with portfolio companies. 

    You will have the exciting opportunity to work closely with 3Pillar Global corporate development, technical business development, product management, and marketing teams on strategic initiatives that support and tie into the PE community.

    Responsibilities:

    • Continuously develop your personal network of industry contacts and influencers as a source for market intelligence, referrals, and prospects.
    • Develop and own the strategy and action plan for expanding our relationship with named PE fund and portfolio company clients.
    • Define the pursuit strategy with PE fund-related portfolio company prospects to drive new sales and associated pursuit plans.
    • Drive the sales pursuit from pitch/presentation materials, conversation management, contracting, SalesForce operations, to closed/won.
    • Focus on building relationships with current PE fund stakeholders while seeking new buyer opportunities within their portfolio of companies.
    • Maintain an active pipeline of new PE fund portfolio company-related opportunities.
    • Help identify key portfolio companies within named PE funds that have digital transformation and product development needs to open up and drive engagement pursuits.
    • Work closely with the PE funds and the portfolio companies to ensure our relationship is successful and growing.
    • Provide routine business updates to senior management regarding progress with PE funds and associated portfolio company pursuits.
    • Serve as a liaison within the PE community for 3Pillar Global.
    • Attend onsite meetings with named PE funds with the intention of deepening relationships (and building new ones), identifying fresh pursuit opportunities, guiding engagement delivery, and identifying challenges or risks.  Work with our Global Client Engagement Managers (CEM) to develop Account Plans for assigned PE-related clients and lead presentations on assigned clients during Biannual Business Reviews.
    • Possess a client interaction style that is informative, consultative, and education based.
    • Continuously refine our understanding of the Private Equity community (trends, needs, etc.). Understand product development + digital disruption trends and forces that shift budgets and strategic direction of the market.
    • Attend conferences and networking events, documenting activities for use in marketing and sales.
    • Leverage and collaborate with 3Pillar Global leadership and cross organizational teams to successfully own and drive sales pursuits from proposal creation to closed/won deals.
    • Meet and/or exceed sales goals.
    • Manage escalation points for clients on delivery issues or overall account issues.
    • Assist in removing roadblocks for the Delivery Lead or CEM. Support the Global CEM on client improvement opportunities and meeting the objectives in the contract. Work with Delivery Operations to assign the team for kickoff and delivery of engagement.
    • Understand and actively utilize Salesforce and other internal 3Pillar Global administrative systems related to sales.

    Qualifications:

    • 5+ years of experience in sales or relationship management, ideally in a quota-carrying/goal driven environment.
    • 5+ years of experience with relationship management or client management in either: Private Equity, Venture Capital, PE or VC-backed companies.
    • Expertise and demonstrated success selling digital transformation and product development solutions to enterprise organizations.
    • Measurable track record of driving business growth in assigned accounts through new relationships.
    • History of exceeding sales quota (you love the thrill of the hunt!) and building and growing a pipeline of business as the result of outbound prospecting and high activity metrics.
    • A consultative, growth focused mindset with the ability to develop deep relationships and add value to the client's business over the long term.
    • Superior social and communication skills with a proven track record of engaging with C-suite executives.
    • High level of proficiency in sales and business acumen, pipeline management, customer relations, opportunity identification, conflict and negotiation management.
    • Deep Knowledge of or experience in one or more of the following industries: Financial Services/Banking, Media, Communications, or Technology industries.
    • Proven ability to lead seamlessly, with multi-faceted teams which include individuals possessing unique personalities stemming from various backgrounds.
    • An overarching understanding of product development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum, etc.). Willing to travel approximately 30% of the time.
